For over two decades, the MTE (Malaysia Technology Expo) has been a beacon of recognition for outstanding innovators, researchers, scientists, students, and entrepreneurs worldwide. Since its inception in 2001, MTE has been at the forefront of celebrating excellence in research and innovation, establishing itself as the region’s leading innovation event through strategic collaborations with academia, inventors’ associations, and research partners both locally and abroad.
At MTE, we believe in fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in research communities worldwide to contribute to the global innovation and technology ecosystem. Our mission is to achieve this through three key objectives:
Firstly, MTE aims to establish new partnerships and networks for commercialization and product development, enabling innovators to take their ideas to market and transform them into impactful solutions that benefit society.
Secondly, MTE provides a platform for innovators and researchers to gain recognition for their work, celebrating the most outstanding and innovative contributions across a wide range of fields.
Finally, MTE is committed to empowering the next generation of innovators, inspiring young people to develop a passion for science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields, and equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to pursue a career in innovation.
